Hello Family and Friends!

Here is the breakdown for my day:
  1. Physical Health - I did my 30 minutes of walking. I felt like sushi, so I went for sushi for dinner. I did get brown rice for my roll. I also had a cream based soup for lunch. Not the best food wise, but that is okay! Tomorrow I am going to add the exercises from You on a Diet. That will help with toning. Cardio is most important to me at this point, I think that I am doing a lot better at this point. :)
  2. Mental Health - Today I read In Sheep's Clothing by George K. Simon, Jr. I am not sure if I like it yet. I will let you know more tomorrow....
  3. Emotional Health - I really enjoyed my sushi meal with my brother! I will watch a little of the Marlins game with my father now. I am going to watch some of the election coverage after that. Oh, I also laughed for about 5 minutes straight with someone from work. Laughing is my emotional cure. I love to laugh with my family and friends.
Today was another good day! Cheers for many more.

Love,

Lulu

P.S. I am trying to post a relevant picture everyday. Since I didn't want to search for a sushi pic, I used a picture of my brother-in-law's tuna dish from New Years. We had raw tuna today, so it works. THE TUNA DISH PICTURED WAS MUCH BETTER!!!! :) :)

Hey Missy! The picture looks delicious! Was that one of Josh's yummy dishes? Regarding your blog comments, I'm interested in knowing how you feel the next day, a follow up of sorts. For example, Tuesday you went bike riding, so on Wednesday I would like to know how you felt: feel good, tired, willing to ride again, not for you maybe try something else, would like your friends to bike ride with you, etc, etc.

HEART RATE MONITOR - Yes, I sent you this via email and I feel it is important enough to tell you again! ahaha ~ You said on your blog that your focus is cardio. That being said then you should wear your heart rate monitor. Your readings will be contingent upon the type of exercise; some more strenuous than others. You can segment your heart-rate readings based on your cardio routine for the day: walking, skating, or bike riding. Segmenting will allow for a more accurate reading for each activity. The results will help you to visual how your heart is responding to each activity. Have you been walking for the last three weeks at 129 bpm (beat per minute) – then maybe its time to pump it up and speed walk.

Great job! Love the blog. It's a great way to get healthy. Seems like when you write down what you eat, you get a sense of what's good and what's not so good.

I feel that, at this point, the most important thing you do is push the exercise and moderate the diet. Then, you can start adding things. One little thing at a time.

All said, you are doing fantastic. Love you SO much!!!!!!!!!
