Por Fin


Hello Family and Friends!

Here is the breakdown for my day:
  1. Physical Health - 30 minutes of walking. That is all. I didn't do the You on a Diet Exercises. Not going to sweat it. Thank you, Nessa, for the tips on the heart rate monitor. That tracking will start tomorrow!!Food wise - not so good! I went to Por Fin (on the Gables Restaurant Week) for the special. I had: Batatas Bravas, Sea Bass, and White Chocolate Mouse. I was very good the rest of the day!! Food was excellent and well worth the calories!!!! :)
  2. Mental Health - I am still read In Sheep's Clothing by George K. Simon, Jr. I am getting into it!
  3. Emotional Health - The Por Fin meal was great! Excellent food and company!When I got home today, my father was in the pool with a glass of wine. After my walk, he was still in the pool. My brother and I decided to join him with our own glasses of wine. Sister, do not freak out - the dog joined us. It was only for a few minutes and he was fine. :0)
I felt great today! The picture that I choose for today reflects my sunny day. I had a good day at work, great meals, and exercised.
I honestly don't think that I have lost any weight. However, I feel fit and I am confident it will show soon. I am more sore today than yesterday from the bike ride on Monday. Go figure. I guess it took 2 days to get to my muscles. LOL. :)

P.S. Thank you to Nessa for the comments. I love them. I know that I motivated you to get a bike based my one bike ride (LOL), but you are motivating me to write my blog tonight. I was a little lazy and didn't want to write it. I wrote this one just for you because I know that you are going to check it tomorrow. You are the best friend ever to motivate me!

It's wonderful you feel great! That is the most important thing. It's my opinion that you have to get to the bottom of things and work on your emotional well-being like crazy. Then, things will start to fall into place.

I love the blog. Please keep writing an entry every day -- it's the best.

AWE!! I feel so special! :) thanks lulu :) Continue focusing on how you feel and not on whether you have lost any weight yet. You can lose all the weight you want, but if emotionally you don't feel the difference then your efforts are in vain. I agree with E "work on your emotional well-being...things will start to fall into place."
I like the picture. May I have a copy to enlarge it and frame it for my house?

Soreness - It does take 48 hours to feel the fitness effects on your muscles. Remember to stretch -it will reduce the lactic acid build up which causes the soreness. Stretching will also help your muscles to continue growing which in turn will speed up the reduction of adipose tissues (aka burn fat!). ~ Sorry for the human physiology moment but it is what I studied and it just comes out! hahha especially when it is fitness related ~ you see you are motivating me again - now I’m going to re-subscribe to my Woman's Health magazine. :)
