Walk with a friend - you both benefit! :)

Hello Family and Friends!

Here is the breakdown for my day:
  1. Physical Health - 45 minutes of walking and I forgot the heart rate monitor. Heart rate tracking will be coming soon! My form of exercise was most enjoyable today as I was joined by two lovely friends, Nessa and G. We went to a different park. I believe alternating the routine slightly will continue to help me. The most important thing is that I get bare minimum 30 minutes of walking a day. There will be a slight change tomorrow since I have plans after work. My 30 minutes of walking will be done prior to work. In addition, my blog will probably be written on Saturday morning for Friday (depending on what time I get home at night). As far as food today, I was really good! I ate dinner early and no overeating at any meal. I had three well balanced meals and one snack.
  2. Mental Health - Same book - In Sheep's Clothing by George K. Simon, Jr. I am making progress, almost finished. Manipulators out there, beware - I am learning. ;)
  3. Emotional Health - My emotional health and physical health are tied together today. The evening walk with friends was great. To wind the day down, I will finish last night Top Chef. I fell asleep before it ended last night. I love that show.
How do I feel today? I feel energized (with only one cup of coffee in the AM), I didn't complain that I was tired in the morning (I often do!), and my feet are not hurting. When I am out of the house all day (and I do not get home until 9:30), I am usually cranky, exhausted, and my feet hurt. Today I have enough energy to write this blog and still play with the best doggie ever. :)

No need to comment on the picture of the day. Take action and exercise with a buddy.

Love,

Lulu

P.S. I received my roller blades and protective gear today. I will probably use them for the first time Saturday. I haven't been roller blading since I was 15 years old. Wish me luck!

Wow! Everything sounds great. I love your blog! Please keep up with it, I relishing reading it every morning. And, congrats on keeping up with the walking -- anything more than half an hour is completely awesome! Sometimes, when we walk for over an hour, I feel amazing! Walking is great for your mental health and your soul as well. I have nothing but positive things to say about you, the best sis ever to live!!!!! Love you so much, Eva

REPOSTING MY ORIGINAL COMMENT

Hola Senorita!

Glad to hear you had the energy to write your blog and spend time with the dobbie! :) You’re doing great! I was shocked when half-way through our walk (when I thought we were done!) you said – “We have to walk for another 15 minutes!” Talk about determination and commitment!

I like the picture! :)

This so soooo cool! What a great way to keep the momentum going and share the experience with all those who LOVE you!

We should incorporate some walking time again during our lunch hour. Like the good old days!

Keep it going missy!

Thanks for sharing.
